Proper maintenance is the only way to ensure top performance and long life for your soldering iron. It does not take long for flux residue, contaminants and oxidation to build-up between the surface of a soldering iron's heating element and its soldering tip. This build-up has a negative effect on heat transfer as well as eventually leading to permanent tip seizure into the iron, rendering your tool unusable!
This product allows for quick and easy routine cleaning and maintenance of your heavy-duty soldering irons. Two minutes at the end of each shift can easily improve the performance and longevity of your soldering iron.

Bore brushes are specifically manufactured to the perfect diameter to facilitate the quick removal of the oxidization (and other contaminants) that build up on the inner wall of your soldering iron´s tip chamber.
Bore brushes are constructed on high-speed steel quick disconnect bits allowing for use in any standard hand drill. Bore Brushes included are 1/4", 3/8", 5/8", 7/8" and 1-1/8" in diameter.
Hand brush incorporates steel bristles for removal of stubborn, caked on contaminants.
Specialized synthetic abrasive pads quickly and easily remove the oxidation from the shank of soldering iron tip.
